We’re Getting Out of Depression in 10 Steps!20 May 2017
You don’t feel excited about anything, don’t enjoy life, you are in low spirits, you’re reluctant about life, you don’t feel like eating or the opposite you’re gaining weight; you’re not able to sleep, you always feel like your body aches and you’re thinking constantly, you might be in depression. Depression usually happens because of problems in relationships, unhappiness at work and daily stress. And sometimes you feel it in changing of the seasons. But you don’t need to live with depression. Sometimes, it may seem like there’s no way out but it depends on how much you want to get out of depression and how hard you try. Yes, you can get out of depressions step by step and you can feel renewed and fresh. It’s that easy. But first you have to ask yourself: Do I want to feel better? If the answer is yes, here are the steps:
Step 1: Admit that you’re in depression and express these feelings. It doesn’t matter who thinks what, what’s important is that you admit it to yourself.
Step 2: Stop thinking of the past or the things that annoy you. Don’t get stuck in them. Don’t judge youself. Because past things cannot help you anymore.
Step 3: You may want to do nothing, but doing nothing is even worse for you. Do the things that you enjoy, see the people that you would be happy to see. Don’t think that you will bother them. They’re your friends.
Step 4: Walk in nature, watch a funny movie, read the books of the people who have been through this and still became successful.
Step 5: Don’t seek consolation in sleeping all the time, skipping shower or eating all the time. Instead of these, get busy with other stuff. For example, write or adopt a pet.
Step 6: Do something that you’ve never done before. Don’t make excuses that you can’t do it. You can do whatever you want.
Step 7: Smile a lot. Even if you don’t mean it. After a while, some things will be funny.
Step 8: Put aside all the destinations that you need to reach, their end goals and the results that you need to have. Try to enjoy living and life.
Step 9: Relaxing herbal teas, colorful vegetables and fruits and most importantly water will be so much helpful to you.
Step 10: Here’s the biggest step: Love yourself.
