Roasted Turkey Recipe for New Year’s Eve

There are two musts of New Year’s Eve:

1- Your loved ones,

2- Roasted turkey.

This is because a fulfilling evening meal with your loved ones is one of the most beautiful ways to enter a new year. Meal and chat bring you closer to each other and this brings the abundance of the whole year. Ingredients

1 medium size turkey

1 onion

1 potato

1 carrot

2 spoons of butter

1 spoon of olive oil

A handful of dried parsley

A pinch of salt

A pinch of black pepper

A pinch of red pepper

Preparation

First, wash the turkey thoroughly. Clean inside of it, yet leave its skin on the turkey. Then chop onion, potato, and carrot and put them inside of the turkey. Put the turkey on a large oven tray. Put butter under its skin. Meanwhile, mix olive oil, dried parsley, salt and peppers. Put the mixture on top of turkey and wrap the turkey with tinfoil. Cook the turkey for three hours in a preheated oven in 180°. Open tinfoil and cook it for another half an hour (this is how it will be roasted). After you take the turkey out of the oven, open the tinfoil but don’t cut the turkey immediately. Or it won’t be juicy. After waiting for 15 minutes, slice it and service the slices to your loved ones. <3
